Excellent experience in a very old-fashioned atmosphere of a Parmigiana trattoria, with a historic restaurant and super friendly and kind staff. Excellent food, with particular attention to the real cooked shoulder and the off-menu hare ragù, truly special!

Amazing food! We had the donkey stew followed by Zuppa inglese and both were fabulous. We even had a chat to the chef, he tried out his English on us and it was superb. Fantastic staff and a great culinary find on the Via Francigena

For call the flavor of the typical trattoria of the Parma hills and the typical cuisine. Here you can find all the traditional dishes, with the specialty of freshly cooked shoulder served with fried pie. as well as a good selection of cured meats. Excellent value for money.

Amazing place. Food is great and even if booked out they find space for a pilgrim in need for food. 10/10 recommendation

I have returned to this restaurant several times for dinner, and I have always eaten and appreciated the typical Emilian cuisine, starting with the excellent cured meats typical of our area, accompanied by fried pie, giardiniera and Russian salad, and then moving on to an excellent polenta with donkey stew. The must-have dessert?the fabulous trifle excellent and prepared as it once was. Friendly staff, excellent value for money.

We arrived after walking 5 hours in wind and rain, tired and in poor spirits. The lady at the door told us they were all booked out for an event. We asked just to sit and warm up, and they very kindly obliged, pouring us a coffee to help us rejuvenate. Such lovely people. Also, the coffee is amazing!
